Sebastian Restaurant, Deiá

To get right to the point: this restaurant on Mallorca's west coast deserves a star! Sebastian Pasch, originally from Berlin, abandoned his business studies and found himself at the island of Mallorca, where he started out as a night porter at the "La Residencia" hotel in Deiá. There, he soon discovered his passion for cooking and transferred in-house to become assistant chef at the "El Olivio" restaurant's kitchen. Here he learned his trade, taught by Josef Sauerschell (today at Es Racó dès Teix). The following years included professional training stints with award-winning chefs in Germany and Italy. He returned to Mallorca in 1994 and opened his own little restaurant in the same mountain village. The "Sebastian" restaurant is highly popular among British and German residents, while also frequented by celebrities. Not just because of its location, but primarily because of its dainty Mediterranean cuisine. Sebastian Pasch's creations are famous for their first-class quality and their use of seasonal products. Sebastian's wife Patricia is in charge of the service and takes care of her guests with great kindness. Charming, cosy, and potentially addictive. Closed on: Wednesdays

We think this west coast restaurant clearly deserves its Michelin star and we appreciate its good value-for-money!
All you need to make the holiday bliss perfect is a grand view of the lake.
