Individual ratings for Drei Stuben
Hidden in the residential neighbourhood of Unterstrass, behind the Central square and yet a mere ten-minute-walk from the central railway station.
The wood-panelled guest rooms with their low ceilings and pretty accessories in red make for very cosy sitting. Old wooden tables, smartly laid in white table runners and red-and-white chequered napkins, just make you want to sit down and not get up for a good long while.
2 nostalgic restaurant rooms on the ground floor, secluded garden and club room "La Famiglia" with smoker's lounge on the first floor.
Seasonal market cuisine with influences from the Ticino as well as refined and sophisticated new creations. We are quite enchanted by young chef Michael Bollinger's expertise. Don't miss out on the tender Simmental veal cutlet - we believe it is the best in town!
The brief but choice wine list focuses on Italian vintages.
Very personal, cordial, and dedicated.

Now and then you will chance upon a place where you get the feeling of being a bit closer to heaven and still at peace with the world. The "Drei Stuben" is just such a place, a romantic living room with a sound, honest cuisine and a soul solid and true.
The seafood shows a certain potential for improvement. You should go for the meat dishes instead.
