Schlosshotel Chastè Hotel, Tarasp

Having always been family-owned, the Schlosshotel Chastè is a hotel whose unique history will leave no visitor cold. For the house has been in the Pazeller family for 21 generations or 500 years, and was turned in several stages from a farm house into a romantic 4-star hotel. The cosy rooms, done in Swiss pine, overlook Tarasp Castle, the majestic landmark edifice of the Lower Engadin. A gem in scenic location, radiating charm galore and offering grand cuisine together with genial hospitality. The perfect place for discrete connoisseurs and people looking for the true Lower Engadin.
Price range €€
Swiss mountain sanctuary – like from a picture book. The whole place made us feel as if we had strayed onto the set of the motion picture "Heidi."
Tarasp would probably not be a good destination for people with a mind for urban revelries.
