At first glance, you only seem the mountaintop: the quaint 450-year-old Engadin farm building. It is not until you get inside that you discover the new building with its terraced structure; Swiss pine and rare natural materials brilliantly arranged.

Marco Cadonau heads the "In Lain" cabinet-making business in S-Chanf, while his parents sell the hand-made furniture in their home furnishing store in Zuoz, and his brother Dario together with his wife Tamara run the 5-star boutique hotel in Brail. True to the tell-tale name, you will find yourself surrounded by the fragrant smell of Swiss pine in the rooms and suites, splendidly shaped solid-wood pieces, Swiss Pine bath crystals in the bathroom, the unique scenery right outside, and the peerless cuisine in the gourmet restaurant "Vivanda." "Why seek far afield when good things lie nearby?"
