Individual ratings for La Cialoma
A scenic spot in the southern part of the island. The entrance to the restaurant is located on the picturesque "Piazza Regina Margherita" in Marzamemi, and the patio behind the house directly overlooks the sea.
The turquoise-coloured wooden chairs and white tables call to mind a Greek tavern. If it was not for grandma's lace doilies on the tables, we might forget we are in Sicily.
Lunch is served on the large patio beneath the shady straw roof by the sea. At night, you dine on the piazza or in the rustic interior.
Lina Campisi serves an honest seafood cuisine without frills. Depending on the season, you may find young tuna on the menu, for not all tuna is the same. "Tonino" is the term for the blue-fin tuna before it has fattened up and weighs up to 700 kilograms, and it is truly a delicacy. Don't miss out on the classic "La ghiotta di tonno."
Well appointed wine list of Sicilian vintages.
Friendly, though a bit tardy and neglectful.

No matter where you look, there are picture-postcard views of Sicily all around. The spectacular view from the patio across the seas or from the piazza with the backdrop of the former tuna processing plant – these alone are worth a trip.
The restaurant is booked out both noon and evening during the high season. So be sure to make reservations in advance, and to have plenty of time to kill.
