Franciacorta is a wine region between Brescia and Lake Iseo where world-class sparkling wines are produced using the classic method (bottle fermentation). Vittorio Moretti, proprietor of the "Bellavista" winery, is one of the best-known producers in the region. 30 years ago, he and his daughter made a dream come true when they turned "Villa Cavalleri" into a luxury resort. Today, the L'Albereta is a 5-star hotel set inside a vast park and occupying five separate buildings. All of the rooms are done in an elegant country-cottage style. The windows overlook the estate’s own vineyards. A lavish love of detail manifests itself everywhere you go in the resort, be it in the modern spa, the lush verdant parklands with their modern sculptures, or the impressive wine cellar. Despite so much beauty, it pays to venture out from time to time to go see Lake Iseo nearby or to play a round of golf at the sophisticated "Franciacorta" course (5 km from the hotel).
