Individual ratings for La Bottega del Buon Caffè
Close to the city gate San Niccolò in the trendy Oltrano quarter on the left bank of the Arno.
An accomplished blend of styles from Tuscany, Provence and the South of England. The small restaurant overlooks the kitchen, giving you a chance to watch Antonello Sardi fix the plates.
Elegant dining room with large window overlooking the kitchen, wine bar, small lounge, and covered boulevard terrace out front.
Modern Tuscan cuisine that celebrates the actual product. Vegetables, lettuces, herbs, and fruit come from the proprietary farm. Highly respectful of nature, Antonello Sardi uses regional produce to create sophisticated dishes such as crème brûlée made with foie gras and served with red Certaldo onion ice cream. Be sure to try his interpretation of the classic dessert Tiramisù. Awarded one Michelin star.
Interesting menu with a wine selection not limited to Tuscan vintages.
Competent, decidedly attentive and friendly.
