Individual ratings for The Knightsbridge Hotel

Location
Rather quiet, located in the pretty and green cul-de-sac of Beaufort Gardens, just a short walk from Harrods. You are mere minutes away from Harvey Nichols and the Sloane Street boutiques.
Ambience
The little townhouse is cosy and colourful. Like any other Firmdale Group hotel, the Knightsbridge Hotel dons the signature design of Kit Kemp.
Infrastructure
Library, Drawing Room and Honesty Bar
Culinary
The hotel does not have its own restaurant, but breakfast, afternoon tea and room service dishes are available 24 hours and served either in your own room or in the library. There is a wide variety of excellent restaurants within walking distance. Our favourites: Amaya, Zafferano, and Zuma.
Rooms
44 refreshingly colourful rooms and suites. All rooms feature a unique British style, and are defined by an unconventional and yet elegant look, with high-end pocket-spring mattresses, fine Frette bed linen, iPod docking station, eclectically stocked mini-bar, and complimentary WiFi. The mottled grey granite bathrooms are stocked with RikRak bath amenities that have a beautiful English garden scent.
Service
Pleasantly casual, friendly and solicitous.

The Knightsbridge Hotel Hotel, London

Knightsbridge is definitely one of London's priciest areas. An early Victorian townhouse in a coveted residential neighbourhood has been transformed into an elegant boutique hotel. The Knightsbridge Hotel is part of the small Firmdale Hotels group which operates eight hotels in London today. All rooms are done in a bright and colourful "contemporary English style" that carries the handwriting of British designer and co-proprietor Kit Kemp. The rooms feature coarsely woven fabrics, rich colours and ethnic design patterns. The two public salons radiate a cosy atmosphere. The Scottish Terriers on the walls and on pillows are a nice reference to the Scottie Dog from Harrods' Signature collection, because the famous department store is right around the corner. It is the perfect place to return to after a shopping spree, warming yourself by the hearth and ordering afternoon tea. The tea tray is stocked with delicious finger sandwiches, scones and brightly coloured cup cakes that harmonise with the interior decoration.
Price range €€
A perfect temporary home for fashionistas. Harrods is just around the corner, as are many famous designers on Sloane Street. "Shop till you drop" – into a comfortable bed.
There is no separate breakfast room. Four tables are decked out for breakfast in the library each morning. If you fail to score one of the tables, you may take your breakfast on a sofa. Alternatively, you may decide to have breakfast outside the hotel.
