Individual ratings for The Connaught
In a Victorian showpiece building on one end of Mount Street, a fashionable high street lined with luxury boutiques and galleries, in the heart of Mayfair.
An accomplished symbiosis of classic and modern styles, tradition and zeitgeist, elegance and ease. Very British indeed!
2 restaurants, 3 bars, the Aman spa featuring an indoor pool, a steam room, a gym, and treatment rooms.
Richly diversified "à la carte" breakfast, excellent afternoon tea, great brasserie cuisine at the "Espelette" restaurant, and creative gourmet cuisine by Hélène Darroze at the eponymous restaurant, which bears the accolade of two Michelin stars.
121 refurbished rooms and suites, 34 thereof in the new wing where the spa is located as well. Rooms come in two styles: either classic British or starkly modern. All rooms feature spacious marble bathrooms, butler service, and complimentary Wi-Fi.
Marked by quiet perfection – solicitous, friendly, competent and brisk. At the Connaught, you will feel well-cared for and at home.

It's an absolute treat to sit in the brightly day-lit "Espelette" dining room with its sweeping view of Mount Street, and to enjoy the sophisticated finger sandwiches filled with foie gras or salmon and wasabi. The fluffy scones fresh from the oven are served with jams made by Christine Ferber, the queen of jams. The macarons as well as the miniature Bûche de Noël have been designed by Michelin star winning chef Hélène Darroze. The finest afternoon tea in town!
The maze-like network of corridors can be confusing. Depending on which room you are staying in, you will have to pass through endless hotel corridors to get to the spa or the restaurant.
