Individual ratings for The Beaumont

Location
In the heart of Mayfair, facing a small peaceful square, just a one-minute walk from Oxford Street (close to "Selfridges").
Ambience
The Beaumont is an accomplished homage to the Roaring Twenties. A smart 5-star boutique hotel informed by classic values, interpreted in a refreshingly new way and glossed with the comforts of our day and age.
Infrastructure
Despite its rather manageable size, the hotel offers all the amenities of a grand hotel: 2 bars – American Bar and The Cub Room (reserved exclusively for guests of the hotel) – The Colony Grill Room, a small spa including a steam room, gym and treatment rooms, and a barber shop. A vintage Daimler is available to guests for shopping excursions in Mayfair.
Culinary
À la carte breakfast at The Colony Grill Room, with brunch served on weekends. Large slabs of grilled meat served at lunch and dinnertime, along with a fine selection of American sandwiches and salads.
Rooms
73 sophisticated rooms and suites in the style of the Art Déco. Everything is decorated with a lavish attention to detail, including elegant marble bathrooms in black and white, stylised retro alarm clocks and pretty gadgets, and even playing cards and a selection of books. The walls are hung with artwork and black-&-white photographs from the 1920s.
Service
Warm, attentive, personal and decidedly eager to be of service. You feel well cared for and very much at home. Every employee lives up to the spirit of hospitality. Any craving you may have is quickly gratified – nothing ever seems too much.

The Beaumont Hotel, London

With class foremost in mind: Regardless of whether you are in the restaurant, at the American Bar, or in your room – dining, drinking, staying at The Beaumont makes you part of a total art work. Even as you enter, the listed building from 1926, refurbished at immense cost, will wrap you in the flair of the easy-going hospitality and glamour the Art Déco hotels of the Roaring Twenties were known for. All of the 73 rooms and suites are furnished in pieces crafted in Art Déco style expressly for this hotel. Hundreds of black-and-white portraits of British and American celebrities of the 1920s grace the walls of the bar. It is a great place for reminiscing in style about the day's exploits and to get in the mood for dinner in the elegant Colony Grill Room later on. You certainly have plenty to look forward to, for The Beaumont is the first hotel of London's two celebrated restaurateurs Jeremy King and Chris Corbin. These are, of course, the impresarios who created the two trendy grand cafés The Wolseley and The Delaunay, among other places. The Beaumont is a boutique hotel for individualists with a weakness for the Art Déco and new hotel beds.

"Room" – a unique suite designed by renowned artist Antony Gormley. The bedroom part is dark, cavernous and mysterious – a great place to meditate, but also to find yourself. From the outside, the daunting suite is a monumental sculpture and simultaneously an architectonic element set into the hotel façade.
Breakfast is served in the windowless restaurant – the Colony Grill Room.
