Individual ratings for La Bastide Saint-Antoine

Location
Located in a vast garden estate in the lower part of Grasse, the city of fragrances, extending over five hectares and including 1,500 olive trees.
Ambience
Shabby chic meets no-nonsense modernism – never letting you forget, though, that you are in the Provence. There is a special touch to the restaurant's two dining rooms: while the "Camélia" room has a welcoming fireplace, the "Olivier Bas" room with its large panoramic windows commands a magnificent view of the groomed landscape.
Infrastructure
Two dining rooms, library, patio, gift shop with Provençal souvenirs from the Chibois kitchen, boutique hotel with 5 genteel-rustic rooms and 7 modern suites, expansive garden including pool.
Culinary
Simplicity is the epitome of finesse. Jacques Chibois currently bears the accolade of one Michelin star for his light and elegant fresh-market cuisine. Do not miss the "Homard bleu" or the "Foie gras." The 3-course lunch menu "Bastide" is priced at €63 during the week.
Wine List
Comprehensive wine cellar with 1,600 vintages, largely consisting of regional wines from the Provence.
Service
Jacques Chibois knows exactly how to head a starred restaurant, starting with the driveway to the restaurant, to the wine recommendations, all the way to the digestif. Virtually no request goes unmet even if it involved something as exotic as a birthday cake lettered in Chinese ideograms.

La Bastide Saint-Antoine Restaurant, Grasse

If you love the Côte d'Azur so much that you need a very good reason indeed to leave it even for a few hours, here is your reason: "La Bastide Saint-Antoine" – a patrician 18th century residence embedded in lush greenery, including lush bougainvillea, old olive trees, and a view of the bay of Cannes. An idyllic retreat and an elegant setting for the star-winning cuisine of Jacques Chibois. His creations are light, simple, and colourful, inspired by the aromas of the Provence. While the Michelin Guide downgraded the restaurant from two to one star in 2011, we noted no decline in product quality, mode of preparation, and presentation the last time we visited in 2014. For us, Jacques Chibois continues to count among the grand creative chefs in the South of France. Open daily, year round.
Price range €€€
This is an exuberant cuisine that makes your heart skip a beat and nurtures your soul with its Provençal joie de vivre. Making it tempting to stay a bit longer. In fact, if you decide to stay the night, you may bed down in one of the 16 charming rooms.
Some of the rooms are exposed to noise.
