Individual ratings for Le Bellechasse
Located in the city centre in a rather quiet side street of the same name. Culture and shopping opportunities right outside the hotel. From here, it is only 100 metres to the Musée d'Orsay in one direction, and to the boulevard Saint-Germain-des-Prés in the other.
The hotel's name gives you a clue as to its interior. The dark lobby is dominated by a huge chandelier which reminds you of the crown of a tree turned upside down.
Lobby with bar, breakfast room.
There is no restaurant at the hotel.
33 individually designed rooms, the walls hung with Lacroix wallpaper, and even some of the ceilings. Butterflies, lush vegetation and the struggle between sun and moon are the major motives of Lacroix's interior design.
Casual in a French way: the result being sometimes better, sometimes worse.
Le Bellechasse Hotel, Paris
Price range
All rooms automatically remind you of the glossy illustrations of interior design magazines. The Bellechasse is the second hotel in Paris that was done by fashion designer Christian Lacroix.
The staff runs the entire gamut of hotel etiquette, from friendly, to indifferent, and all the way to arrogant.
