Individual ratings for Les Belles Perdrix
Peaceful and scenic setting right next to the proprietary vineyards, but only 2 kilometres from the medieval village of Saint-Émilion.
Casual and unpretentious. The history-steeped manor radiates charm, character and patina.
Wine production, gourmet restaurant, patio with a magnificent view all the way to the Dordogne Valley, and a pool.
Well diversified breakfast with regional specialities, served at the table. Creative lunch and dinner cuisine commended by one Michelin star.
The 4 rustic-elegant rooms are spread across three different buildings: Maison des Vignes, L'Atelier and the Annex. All of them feature modern bathrooms and mini-bar, some even have a kitchenette.
There are few staff, but each one of them is a jack-of-all-trades. Competent and friendly.

Living at a winery! Touring the vineyards and cellars will amaze you, and the most amazing thing will be the high quality of the wine (“grand cru classé”). The grapes at Château Troplong Mondot are hand-picked according to strict criteria. The cultivation of the grape vines involves neither herbicides nor insecticides.
There is no concierge and no 24/7 white-glove service, but the fine wine and the beautiful dreamy rooms easily make up for that.
