The restaurant is located directly on the bank of Landwehrkanal on Paul-Lincke-Ufer in Kreuzberg.

It is a public house that has everything it takes to make your evening a success: cosy but chic ambience, dim lighting, and very friendly staff.

The elegant dining room splits into two distinct parts and a beautiful patio by the water.
Culinary
The dishes on the periodically changed menu are just delicious! We were thrilled by the ultra-tender calamari, combined with chorizo, purple artichoke, sweet potato, and smoked bell pepper. As far as the main course went, we were more than delighted by the braised belly of pork.

Small selection, consisting exclusively of German vintages.
Service
The staff are nice and nimble, catering to the guests' every whim. Well-timed breaks between courses.

Spindler Restaurant, Berlin

Frank Spindler, the owner, is a familiar face in Berlin's cutting-edge gastronomy. He made a name for himself as a co-sponsor of "Spindler & Klatt" and "Sage." In late December 2014, he opened his own restaurant, "Spindler," on the canal-side street Paul-Lincke-Ufer in the Kreuzberg district of Berlin. The well-appointed urban interior was masterminded by the fashion designer Karolina Preis. The exposed whitewashed brick walls, the tables custom-built from solid walnut wood, the dim lighting, and the dark leather seating combine to create a perfectly cosy atmosphere. The ambience is complemented by a love of detail that manifests itself in things like the chandelier in the entrance area or the quaint Moroccan tiles in the bathrooms. During the summer months, the patio beckons with its fiery red outdoor furniture and its view of the canal. The choice of starters is changed regularly, while the number of main courses and desserts is limited, all of it being freshly made in-house from regional produce. Opening hours: Operated as a coffee house in the daytime, the restaurant opens at 18:00 CET every day.
