12 tastefully modest rooms and junior suites are spread across two floors. All of them feature wooden floors, cosy beds, and as-new nostalgic bathrooms. Complimentary WiFi.

Dedicated genial care is lavished on you either in German or English. She will be more than happy to tell you about the art shows, restaurants, clubs and bars you should not miss.

A charming señora with German roots, Yessica Delgado Fritz worked in the fashion industry for many years, and used to do quite a bit of travelling. It was in New York City that she developed a passion for fancy bed & breakfasts. In 2005, she made her dream come true by turning a large apartment in a period building into her very own five-bedroom B&B of modest splendour. She was inundated with inquiries from the start. So when the apartment right upstairs became available in 2009, she pounced on it. Today, her rigorously styled bed & breakfast extends over two floors, offering 12 rooms and junior suites. Exposed brick walls, wooden floors, nostalgic bathrooms with large walk-in showers will catch the fancy even of seasoned globetrotters. Suspended above one of the large communal tables in the open-plan breakfast room hangs a stunning "Zettel'z" designer lamp by Ingo Maurer. This is where like-minded art and design aficionados congregate over breakfast, comparing notes and merrily networking.

The rooms overlooking the heavily frequented artery Pau Claris are noisy. If you are noise sensitive, you should book a junior suite facing the inner courtyard.
