Situated at the upper end of the Passeig de Gràcia shopping street, 200 metres away from the "Diagonal" underground station and a mere 500 metres from the legendary fish restaurant "Botafumeiro."
Ambience
The place has been given a thorough once-over. An accomplished symbiosis of ancient and new, urban finesse, and contemporary splendour.

Parlour, library and large roof-top terrace with lounge, whirl pool, Finnish sauna and massage parlour.

Rooms
Six generous light-flooded suites, each offering a living space of about 150 sqm. All suites feature an airy living-and-dining room, a separate kitchen, two bedrooms and a walk-in closet as well as a separate bathroom. The individual suites differ only in location, view and such specialities as terrace, balcony or Art Nouveau bay window. All suites are equipped with Nespresso coffeemakers, iPod docking station and complimentary WiFi.
Service
Each guest is assigned a personal assistant who knows his way about town. No matter what you need, be it childcare or dog walking, tickets for a football game or a tableat the fashionable tapas bar "Tickets," (almost) any wish will be fulfilled promptly.

El Palauet Living Hotel, Barcelona

No other architectural style is as characteristic for Barcelona's as "Modernisme" – the Catalonian style of Art Nouveau. "El Palauet" is a modern bourgeois mansion built in 1906 and is called "Little Palace." Privacy is taken seriously here, and nothing but a discreet plaque tells you that the beautiful place is home to a small suite hotel. Behind the richly decorated façade complete with bay window and wrought-iron balcony you will quickly forget about the hustle and bustle of the Passeig de Gràcia as you surrender yourself to this intimate sanctuary. The entrance hall takes you to two stately parlours with tall ceilings, splendid stucco elements, columns and wood panelling. A retro-looking elevator takes the guests to their suites which are done entirely in white lest the visitor's gaze be distracted from the magnificent ceilings. Those who appreciate modernism and great design will be enchanted by the "El Palauet." Furniture designed by Eames, Citterio and Saarinen, bathrooms designed by Philippe Starck, luxurious fabrics and modern kitchens all lend the suites a contemporary touch. Perfect for families and all those planning a longer stay in Barcelona.
Price range €€€
We adore the beautiful roof top terrace with its small hot tub, sauna, lounge and its magnificent view of the city. An excellent place to get into the mood for the evening while nursing a drink and watching the sun set.
While it is true that your money will buy you plenty of space and a unique ambience here, it is equally true that The "El Palauet" happens to be one of Barcelona's most expensive places to stay.
