Individual ratings for Murtaröl
Located directly on the road to Sils Maria in the direction of the Malojapass at the hamlet of Plaun da Lej with a view of Lake Sils.
Nothing in this classic if rustic place will distract you from the essential, the food.
Theres is a dining hall with fireplace and Swiss pine ceiling, the so-called Fischerstübli, a conservatory with lake view, and small smokers' room.
Classic seafood true to the motto: "The largest choice of seafood in the Alps." The smoked salmon is prepared in the restaurant's own smokehouse. Our favourites: Plate of smoked fish with salmon, swordfish and tuna or dorade carpaccio as a starter, followed by bass in a salt crust.
The well-appointed wine menu lists a large selection of white wines, and is marked by a great value-for-money ratio.
The Italian staff are attentive, charming and efficient.

Price range
Instead of choosing from the map, go on a guided tour behind the scenes and choose your fish or lobster directly from the fish tank.
Careful with the rare king prawn: 100 g cost 42 Swiss Franc and a single prawn can easily weigh up to 4 or 5 kg! To avoid unpleasant surprises we recommend doing your math before ordering.
