Carlton Hotel St. Moritz Hotel, St. Moritz
Experience St. Moritz at its most exclusive. The Carlton looks back on a long history. The prestigious building had its original grand opening in 1913. Oral history has it that the building was originally conceived as summer residence for the Russian Czar Nicholas II of the famous Romanov dynasty. The Swiss interior designer Carlo Rampazzi picked up the glamorous Russian legend as artistic inspiration when completely refurbishing the 5-star all-suites boutique hotel. Its extravagant style skilfully combines antique furniture with unusual colours and rare materials. It is a grand way for modern interior design and tradition to mingle. Here, luxury shows its true colors – in a manner worthy of a czar.
