Individual ratings for Grand Hotel du Lac
Directly on the lakeside promenade of the picturesque town of Vevey, with only the street separating the hotel from the lakefront.
A ritzy cocoon with plenty of privacy, character, glitz and glamour.
Gourmet restaurant "Les Saisons," breakfast and casual dining at "La Véranda," bar, lounge, garden with outdoor pool, small spa including steam room, sauna, two treatment rooms, and a gym.
Each year since 2011, Thomas Neeser has been awarded one Michelin star for his creative cuisine at "Les Saisons."
50 as-new rooms and suites of sophisticated style, most done in tender pastel hues of blue, yellow, and pistachio green. Rooms of the "Deluxe" category and up overlook Lake Geneva and come with a balcony.
You will feel like staying at a palace, and being treated like visiting royalty.

The hotel's centrepiece is the Oriental Lounge – which seems to have sprung straight out of 1001 nights.
Vevey is simply too small to justify a stay of more than two or three nights at this hotel.
