Location
Right in the midst of the First District, close to St. Stephen's Cathedral and to "Goldenes Quartier," the new luxury shopping precinct in Vienna's historic town centre.
Ambience
The façade is reminiscent of one of Koloman Moser's designs, a sparkling cylinder ornamented with large oval gems. Inside, you will find mahogany wainscoting, opulent curtains and fabrics.

Rooms
32 tastefully designed, if rather small, rooms with 1930s flair. All rooms with mahogany wainscoting, parquet floors and comfortable bay windows, perfect for lounging and reading. A few of the rooms come with a private balcony. Complimentary mini-bar, pitcher of Grander water, and WiFi.
Service
The staff are decidedly guest-oriented and competent.

Topazz Hotel, Wien

A boutique hotel with an unmistakeable identity! The Topazz conspicuously sticks out from the bulk of tedious Viennese hotels, many of which continue to be dominated by the lacklustre pomp of bygone imperial times. Its large oval windows and the dark-brown glass-mosaic façade take exception to the surrounding classicist design. But it isn't just the unique façade of the small four-star hotel. Entering the building, you'll be pleasantly surprised by its interior 1930s design that includes the copious use of mahogany and brass that pays homage to style of Wiener Werkstätte design. Heavy curtains, sinuously curved armchairs and funny lamps complement the stylish amalgam of Art Deco and boudoir chic. If you appreciate stage set design, you will fall in love with the Topazz.

Elegant 1930s design behind the hotel's signature oval windows. Casual, stylish and – above all – different!
The rooms are fitted with minute wardrobe wall units and are definitely unsuitable for travellers with large suitcases and aspirations.
