Ca Maria Adele Hotel, Venezia

The Ca Maria Adele is a small but fancy family-run hotel for adults, situated in a top location. The brothers Alessio and Nicolà Campa created a sensuous retreat in this palazzo, that seems rather inconspicuous from the outside. Opulent decoration, heavy Murano glass chandeliers, silk wallcoverings, and a beguiling room scent define the interior of this urban oasis. The guest rooms are dominated by a plush, poetic atmosphere. The five themed rooms – "Sala dei Mori," "Sala del Doge," "Sala Noire," "Sala del Camino," and "Sala Orientale" – are accomplished homages to the heyday of Venice when it was the most important maritime and commercial power in the Mediterranean. An ideal location for lovers, honeymooners, top dogs, and all those who dream of a weekend in Venice in a place whose standard few other hotels are able to match. In order to ensure the tranquillity and private sphere of the guests, the venue will not accept children below the age of 16.
Price range €€€
You will find an almost monastic tranquillity and serenity here, and this even though Saint Mark's Square is only a few minutes away. The small palazzo with its few rooms resembles an elegant private residence more than a hotel.
The rooms of the lowest category, "Deluxe," are very small, and not recommended for travellers with loads of luggage. Booking one of the five original themed rooms is well worth it.
