Individual ratings for Il Pellicano
The complex sits in a terraced garden estate with direct access to the waterfront. The hotel consists of 6 cottages interconnected via a number of staircases and walkways.
Tuscan summerhouse marked by discrete luxury and a pleasant touch of understatement.
2 restaurants, bar, private swimming deck, boat hire, salt water pool, tennis court, small spa including steam room, treatment facilities, hairdresser, gym, wellness and yoga programmes.
Richly varied breakfast buffet, Mediterranean cuisine in casual ambience at the "Pelligrill" and sophisticated Italian gourmet cuisine using organic products at the "Il\_Pellicano" restaurant. Sebastiano Lombardi has been awarded a Michelin star in recognition of his culinary art.
There are 34 rooms and 16 suites in Tuscan country-cottage style – bright and beautiful. Room rates include the complimentary mini-bar.
The staff is cordial and competent; special requests are accepted as a challenge, and promptly satisfied. Nothing ever seems too much.

Location, seaside, and repose. The lush garden with its retreats and comfortable daybeds seriously encourages contemplative idleness. The nearest town – Porto Ecole – is small and manageable, offering virtually no enticement to leave the unique hotel compound.
Also, the winding coastal road makes it inadvisable to engage in nocturnal escapades.
