Far off the beaten tourist tracks, in the quaint village of Bossolasco in the Alta Langa region. 26 km away from Alba.
A picture-postcard Piemont country cottage with plenty of charm, patina, and character.

A richly varied breakfast made from organic regional products. In the afternoon, home-made cake is served in the cosy living room. There is no restaurant at the hotel.
There are 6 very charming rooms and 3 suites, decorated in "vintage chic" style. All of these are decorated in restored antiques, wooden ceilings, and nostalgic bathrooms, but lack TV sets and mini-bars. There is complimentary mineral water in the rooms, and bathrooms are stocked with care products by Ortigia.

It is often the small things that make all the difference: love of detail, a personal style, or an extra touch of kindness. And it is with enormous commitment that Constanza and Andrea Monaco run their charming bed & breakfast Maison Otto which they opened in the picturesque hamlet of Bossalasco in 2010. Safe inside the ancient 18th-century walls, you will find a sophisticated interior with Bohemian look, decorated with a sure sense of style. Almost as soon as you have settled into one of the nine rooms, you will realise that you don't ever want to leave again. Here in the cosy living room with its restored antique furniture, old trunks, hat boxes, and tucked into the sofa before a crackling fire in the hearth, sipping an aperitif, you finally get to read the book that has lain unread on your bedside table for weeks. It's a good thing that this romantic B&B has no restaurant (yet), for it gives you one good reason reason to venture forth from this halcyon sanctuary at least in the evenings. Several fine eating places worth visiting in the vicinity come to mind, most notably the trattoria La Coccinella in the neighbouring village of Serravalle Langhe. Children aged 8 and older welcome.
