Location

Located directly next to the city limits sign of "Fiesole," tucked away in a sprawling park, the villa is close to town and yet quiet and idyllic.

The place has certainly been given a thorough once-over! A successful symbiosis of ancient and new, sensuousness and splendour.

Culinary

Creative Mediterranean cuisine by Chef Carmine Calò. It is definitely worthwhile to dine at the restaurant – especially when you get to sit on the patio.

45 luxurious rooms and suites distributed across the mansion and the former greenhouse, which is now part of the hotel complex, too. All rooms feature fantastic beds and Nespresso coffee makers. Free mini-bar and WiFi.

A place with the charm of bygone times. The painstakingly restored 15th-century mansion reopened in 2010 as a luxurious 5-star boutique hotel. The grand building, surrounded by cypresses and pine trees, is an oasis of complete tranquillity. The impressive library with its six-meter ceiling, the huge book shelves and the comfortable, "Brit chic" Chesterfield sofas are a perfect retreat to recover from a day of museum-hopping or fancy shopping in Florence. If these walls could talk, they would have quite a tale to tell about the many different owners of this place who lived here over the years and centuries. Each of the rooms and suites was individually designed in line with the characteristic features of the mansion. Regional craftsmanship, and elegant, timeless furniture blend with state-of-the-art technology, cleverly hidden behind mirrors.

Top Flop

We love the park of the hotel with its quaint hideaways and its unique view of the city of Florence. The cathedral dome by Brunelleschi seems close enough to touch. It is hard to make up your mind to get up from the comfy Chesterfield couch in the park.

The breakfast is pre-chosen and brought to your table on a silver tray. Of course, you may ask for a different type of bread or yoghurt. Egg dishes are freshly prepared to your taste. Be sure to allow sufficient time for your breakfast.
