Individual ratings for Kitty Fisher's
In the heart of Mayfair, on Shepherd Market.
Cosy, plush, and mysterious – paying homage to famous courtesan Kitty Fisher.
Bar on the ground floor, restaurant in the basement, and a small boulevard patio out front for the warmer time of year.
Straight-forward British home cooking, lovingly presented by head chef Tomos Parry. Classics: beef tartare, gazpacho, rib eye steak, and lamb cutlets.
The list is accommodated on a single sheet: white and sparkling wines on the front, and red wines on the backside. Many of the wines are sold by the glass. These drinks are complemented by a nice selection of fine cocktails with names like "Good Kitty," "Bald Kitty" and "Smoke and Mirrors."
It's instant appeal makes this place stand out and will draw you in.

It has a wonderful cosy-plush ambience without seeming musty. It is quite tempting to linger.
The window-less dining room in the basement is not a good idea for the claustrophobic-minded.
