Individual ratings for Le Jardin du Quai
Located inside a lush garden, close to the Sorgue river in the town L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, which is well-known for its antiques.
Elegant and relaxed with a dash of humour, as exemplified by the sign "Cabinet du Directeur" that shows the way to the WC.
The restaurant divides into main dining room and anteroom with bar. Large garden terrace with arbour and thatched roofs, gift shop and culinary school in the mansion next door.
Straightforward fresh-market cuisine. Daniel Hébet processes high-quality products into wonderfully light dishes. There is no à-la-carte dining, but daily menu specials that will most certainly entice you.
The short list of delicacies is written on a slate board.
Swift and friendly, with minor lapses during the high season.

The enchanted labyrinthine garden with its old-growth trees, wisteria bushes and cosy nooks, is a real eye catcher.
The restaurant has become a victim of its own success, and is filled to capacity on Sundays.
