Individual ratings for La Maison du Village

Location
Located on a quiet side street in the historic town centre of Saint-Rémy. Everything here lies within easy walking distance.
Ambience
Intimate sophistication – a wonderful combination of Parisian chic, boudoir romanticism, and contemporary art on the walls.
Infrastructure
A lush garden in the inner courtyard, a Diptyque boutique, a fireplace, and a dining room. Guests have the use of the big outdoor pool of the nearby "L'Hôtel de l'Image" (€9.00 per person).
Culinary
Splendid breakfast including French pastry, yoghurt, fresh-squeezed orange juice, fruit salad, and an assortment of teas by Mariage Frères. There is no restaurant at the hotel, but you will find a number of restaurants within walking distance. We recommend in particular: "L'Aile ou la Cuisse" – you will be amazed not least by the desserts.
Rooms
5 spacious, tastefully decorated two-room suites with brightly coloured highlights in violet, raspberry and pink. All of the rooms come with nostalgic bathrooms decorated in boudoir chic with handsome mirrors, iPod docking stations, and complimentary WiFi.
Service
Cordial and solicitous.

La Maison du Village Hotel, Saint-Rémy-de-Provence

There is no reception, no concierge, and there are no room number, but the five suites here are done in a highly aesthetic style and the yard with its murmuring fountain is like an enchanted fairytale garden. The small townhouse dating back to the 18th century is accessed via the Diptyque boutique. Striking about the interior decoration in the public rooms is the precise coordination of elegantly rustic furniture combined with large chandeliers and a lot of art. Laurence Saenz, a native of Paris, is an art savant and regularly organises various sorts of shows in her dapper Bed & Breakfast La Maison du Village. Marco Mencacci came here to present "Barbie's Voyages." At the moment, the "Nature morte" collection by Rero is gracing the walls. It is a special address particularly for art connoisseurs, but also for people who do not care about hotel and prefer to visit friends who have good taste.
Price range
The suites are individually scented by the lovely room sprays of Diptyque. In the boutique on the ground floor, you can sample your way through the assortment and pick your favourite fragrance.
Only two of the five suites have a nice view of the picturesque patio.
