Situated in quiet location in the diplomatic quarter close to the Orangerie park, and a 20-minute walk from the town centre.
Ambience
Breezy and bright. The welcoming rooms are furnished with unique pieces by Le Corbusier, Chevalier, Eames, and de Sede.
Infrastructure
A parlour with library, a bar, a heated pool in the garden, a small spa including sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, and treatment room, a boutique selling Steiff teddy bears, and an in-house underground car park.
Culinary
Rich breakfast buffet with home-made marmalades and organic products from local farms. There is no restaurant at the hotel.
Rooms
30 bright as-new rooms and suites with oak parquet floor and spacious modern bathrooms. Most come with a dedicated balcony or patio. The hotel was refurbished in 2012. Complimentary WiFi.

Villa Novarina Hotel, Strasbourg

Far from the tourist crowd lies this modern white mansion raised in 1955 in the elegant diplomatic quarter of Strasbourg. A small 4-star boutique hotel, it is named after its builder, the architect Maurice Novarina (1907 - 2002). The renowned French architect spent a long time analysing the angle of light before he aligned the structure with the sun and gave it huge window fronts. The house positively glows with the beauty of the golden section. It is simply a wonderful experience to sit in the bright breakfast room with a view of the lush garden and the pool. The Art Déco furniture and the seating furniture by Hugues Chevalier, Le Corbusier, and Eames beautifully complement the contemporary style of the mansion. A stylish home pro tem for design aficionados, architects, and frankly anyone who love to sleep with the window open. Birdsong will be the only sound to penetrate your beauty sleep.

The lush garden with its heated pool is a wonderful location to get your bearings after exploring town.
The small rooms of the lowest "Tradition" category are definitely not meant for travellers with big suitcases and aspirations.
