Location
Tranquil and idyllic, surrounded by a well-groomed garden, the hotel is located in the Alsatian hamlet of Gundershoffen north of Strasbourg.
Ambience
Peaceful, warm and sensual. While the grounds are dominated lush hues of green, the interior breathes country cottage comforts.
Infrastructure
The garden is wild and secluded, offering romantic hideaways and a small barn of horses. The hotel recently opened its own restaurant. The gourmet restaurant Le Cygne is 400 metres away from the house.
Culinary
Great breakfast with Alsatian specialities, and traditional regional food at the in-house restaurant at night.
Rooms
12 individually designed rooms and cosy Junior Suites sprawl across three buildings. Each room or suite has its own name and features a charming special feature such as a romantic view of the babbling brook, a private balcony, or direct access to the garden.

Le Moulin Hotel, Gundershoffen

A romantic hide-away for gourmets, nature lovers and anyone ready for a time-travelling back to the fairy-tale world of Hansel and Gretel of his or her childhood. Placed in quaint rural setting on the edge of the nature reserve of the Northern Vosges, you will find the small three-star hotel Le Moulin. The former corn mill has been rebuilt with a love for detail. The guest house emanates the historic atmosphere of its surroundings where Celtic relics as well as monuments from the Napoleonic Wars were found. Evenings at the hotel get especially cosy whenever the driveway and the forecourt are festooned with countless storm lamps whose light is reflected in the little pond, overlapping with the shadows of those white swans – perhaps the true hosts of Le Moulin.

What a delightful gingerbread house! We just adored the charming old grist mill.
This is not a place where you cannot just pop in for a weekend. Rather, you will have to book your room well in advance.
