Individual ratings for Hôtel de Paris

Location
Located in the heart of town, right across from the Chanel store and just a few steps from the Place des Lices.
Ambience
Geometric shapes, merry colours and a stark-but-sophisticated design by the mind of interior designer Sybille de Margerie.
Infrastructure
2 restaurants, lounge bar in the atrium, heated pool on the rooftop, cinema, small gym, Clarins spa including steam room and sauna, underground car park, valet parking, and free shuttle service to the beaches.
Culinary
Rich breakfast buffet, served in the glass cube on the rooftop. You literally have Saint-Tropez at your feet. The restaurant "Roof" serves Mediterranean cuisine with a Japanese twist, while the "Suffren Café" in the inner courtyard offers creative gourmet dining. The menu was put together by 3-star chef Georges Blanc. Philippe Guérin is responsible for making the implementation of the food concept a success. It is certainly worthwhile to dine at the hotel.
Rooms
52 new brightly coloured rooms and 38 suites done in the style of the 1970s. The walls are accentuated by bold vertical stripes in orange, violet and yellow. All rooms feature a Geneva sound system, a Bluetooth dock, a pillow menu, and care products by Clarins. The bathrooms have large walk-in showers and separated WCs. Complimentary WiFi.
Service
Attentive and solicitous. The genial white-glove service is definitely helpful and efficient.

Hôtel de Paris Hotel, Saint-Tropez

Built in 1931, heavily frequented by celebrities and artists in the 1960s and 1970s, and back in the game since spring 2013! The grand dame of luxury hospitality in Saint-Tropez did not just get a facelift, but was completely refurbished, and is radiating youthful splendour, more beautiful than its ever been! The classic façade fronts for contemporary luxury and design in 1970s style. Above the vast lobby in the atrium hangs an oversized ivory-coloured chandelier including 3,500 aluminium sequins resembling fish scales. The glass bottom of the rooftop pool forms the atrium ceiling. The ornamental reception counter with its countless drawers, the large bar with its tempting seating areas, and the cornucopia of art spread throughout the room will make you want to linger before ascending in either of the two glass lifts. The rooftop patio with its pool and its grand view of the glamorous yacht harbour is sure to tempt you during the summer months. Just watching the sun set from here will make you want to come back soon. Perfect for design fetishists and fans of Saint-Tropez.

Saint-Tropez has one of its landmarks back! The grande dame among the town's hotels reinvented herself, and flaunts the casual glamour that not just celebrities find irresistible.
The bathrooms of the regular rooms could do with a few more surface areas to place your lotions and potions – you're OK in the suites.
