Individual ratings for Château de Valmer
Set into a lush garden complex surrounded by vineyards. An avenue of hundred-year-old palm trees runs for 500 metres down to the private beach on Gigaro Bay on the Saint-Tropez peninsula.
The 19th century manor house neatly combines the charm of bygone times with the nonchalance of southern France.
The gourmet restaurant "La Palmeraie," a pool-bar with bistro, a sprawling garden including pool, spa including indoor pool, sauna, steam bath and treatment rooms, gym, tennis court, private beach and boutique.
Ambitious Mediterranean cuisine. The chef favours local produce. Vegetables, fruit and herbs come from the hotel's own organic garden.
41 cosy rooms and suites decorated in the French country-cottage style. Sublet upgrades have brought the hotel's interior up to modern standards. All rooms come with new bathrooms. 2 unique tree houses in the middle of the vineyard.
Very personal, attentive, and committed. You will feel very well taken care of.

Fancy green or blue? This place features both in abundance. While residing in a vast garden complex with a view of the vineyards, the private beach on Gigaro Bay is just walk through the palm grove away.
The bathrooms, while new, are a bit cramped.
