Individual ratings for Abbaye de la Bussiere
Tranquil, in the middle of a large park. The abbey is situated between Burgundy's two most important towns: Beaune and Dijon.
A visit here will feel like time travel: frescoes, vaults, stained-glass windows, elegant salons – all of it restored with great care.
A gourmet restaurant, a wedding chapel, orangery, a pond, two small ponies for little visitors, and bicycles for the bigger ones.
Emmanuel Hébrard's cuisine was awarded one Michelin star in 2007. The restaurant offers typical local dishes as well as a large wine list featuring the most important of Burgundy Crus.
16 French-style rooms, individually designed. Most rooms feature a modern bathroom with whirlpool bath.
The Cumming family take personal and loving care of each guest.

The tastefully restored abbey with its original frescoes is an unpretentious place of enjoyment and veneration. We are quite enchanted by the place. Time seems to have stopped here.
The location of the hotel is rather secluded, and it is hard to get there without a car.
