Location
Located in a quiet area, close to the Old Botanic Gardens in the heart of Munich. Königsplatz, Stachus, the business district, as well as Munich's famous university are in the vicinity.
Ambience
Warm colours, dark wood and Bavarian lime brick reflect the hotel's Bavarian tradition. Timeless accessories lend a soothingly modern touch to the house.
Infrastructure
A spa (800 sqm) with spacious swimming pool (15 m long), 5 treatment rooms, a gym, a sauna, a steam room, a restaurant, a bar and a garden terrace.
Culinary
The hotel has its own Italian restaurant "Davvero" as well as a private dining room for special occasions for up to 12 guests.
Rooms
160 luxurious rooms decorated with much love for detail. Bathrooms are fitted with Nymphenburg tiles made exclusively for the hotel, on which either Adam or Eve are depicted as well as hotel architect Christoph Sattler's signature.
Service
The staff are attentive, friendly and competent in every respect, whether it be at the spa or the hotel bar.

"The Charles Hotel" in Munich, the latest 5-star-hotel of the exclusive Rocco Forte hotel group, is a tribute to Lord Charles Forte, the father of Sir Rocco Forte. The cosy hotel lobby merges into a small and elegant bar where hotel guests and locals are invited to enjoy the amazing home-made patisserie. The hotel creates its very own atmosphere with modern and traditional elements and events such as after-work parties with DJ, English afternoon tea, or games of chess. The Rocco Forte Hotels' true trademark however is the well recognizable handwriting of Italian designer Olga Polizzi who spares no expense as far as building materials are concerned and successfully endows each hotel room with its own authentic cosiness.

We love the small amenities to which guests staying a suite are treated: quick check-in directly at the suite, unpacking and packing of luggage free of charge, as well as an ironing service upon arrival.
